Harmony in Community
Singing and ringing together, building connections, sharing joy and music.
Singing and ringing together, building connections, sharing joy and music.
Formed in 1979 in Josephburg, Alberta as a four-part men's chorus, the group was enhanced in 1983 to include an English handbell choir with the donation of three octaves of handbells. In 2018, we moved to Sherwood Park, Alberta, just 20 minutes down the road, to reflect the changing demographics of our members and audiences and to foster the growth of both groups.Change has also been apparent in our music, which has evolved from our spiritual roots to include a much broader range of secular pieces. And finally, we've refocused our market on building stronger relationships in Fort Saskatchewan, Strathcona County, and eastside Edmonton. The result has been an engaged group of dedicated members and a growing audience.
But most importantly, we have fun; embrace the challenge of new and different styles of music; support the concept of a music family both on stage and off; and look forward to increasing both our membership and audiences.
